STK MATLAB Connector 1.0

The STK MATLAB Connector by Analytical Graphics, Inc. links MATLAB with Systems Tool Kit (STK), enabling engineers and analysts to control STK from MATLAB, exchange data between the two environments, and automate complex modeling and analysis workflows. It streamlines scenario setup, analysis, and visualization by combining STK’s physics‑based modeling with MATLAB’s computation, scripting, and optimization tools.

Key capabilities:

• Bidirectional integration via the STK Object Model and STK Connect command interface
• Programmatic creation and modification of STK scenarios and objects (satellites, aircraft, ground sites, sensors, missiles, and more)
• Execution of analyses such as access, coverage, orbit and trajectory propagation, attitude, and constraints, with results returned directly to MATLAB
• Import of MATLAB‑generated ephemerides, time‑tagged data, and command sequences into STK for visualization and further analysis
• Control of STK 2D/3D windows, animation timelines, camera views, and screenshot or movie generation
• Support for parameter sweeps, design optimization, and Monte Carlo studies driven by MATLAB scripts
• Local or remote automation (via TCP/IP) of STK instances; works with STK Desktop and, where licensed, STK Engine
• Enablement of Simulink‑based workflows through MATLAB scripting
